ATR EDORA PROJECT

EDORA or "Electronic Documentation for Regional Aircraft" is part of the current "ATR Product Improvement Plan". The project consists of the conversion of all operational documentation into structured XML format (ATA 2300).

Since 2013, in collaboration with the ATR documentation department, OPSAIR is in charge of EDORA specifications implementation, and of the technical analysis for all operational manuals to determine the new manuals structure able to deal with digital philosophy and XML language. The new EDORA structured documentation (AFM, FCOM, QRH, WBM, MMEL and soon the CCOM) is characterized by a big consistency between manuals taking into account the structure of airlines operations manual. With this XML format, it is now possible to load manuals in EFB (Electronic Flight Bag).

With the exception of the CCOM, all the manuals mentioned above have been converted and loaded into EDORA, the airlines operating ATRs have received the first version in PDF.

We are still supporting ATR in the management of updates, the migration of the FMS manual and the integration of the APQ (Technical Illustrations) in EDORA.
